Search 
The document collection in Constitutions of the World Online is accessible through various search functions. Depending on your research purposes, you can select from the following:
 Metadata refers to searches relating to the whole document, such as country or title. You may search globally for a certain term (Basic search), or you may specify search fields and combine them (Advanced search).
- Edited documents refers to searching within the text of electronic editions of the documents. You can either search for words and phrases (original language) in the text (Text search) or you can search for specific, standardized, index terms (in English and other languages) that describe certain passages of the documents (Index search).
